dSurf is a project founded by Dan Clark in 2018. As a digital accessibility consultant and trainer, accessibility verification tester, and website audit specialist, Dan wants to share his knowledge and passion for accessibility (#A11Y). The goal is to create equal opportunities for people who are blind or visually impaired in the workforce and ultimately to create better access for everyone.
As an accessibility consultant, Dan created the dSurf platform to provide information helping people and enterprises navigate software such as JAWS. As a trainer, he helped bring customer feedback and real-world hands-on experience to the software development process and has invaluable knowledge on how the systems can be used to navigate the workforce.
Specialized in planning, conducting, and recording testing to determine conformance to accessibility standards, including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
dSurf is the platform where years of accessibility knowledge and passion for equality in the workforce come together to create a community where knowledge can be shared. dSurf offers free resources in the form of webinars, blog articles, and videos for end-users, teachers of end-users, parents, documentation and content creators, sighted testers, and engineers.
We invite all visitors to join discussions and live webinars to share their experiences and knowledge as accessibility developers and users.
